Today I am finally well again!

I had a fever from Tuesday to Sunday. I got so very bored of being inside and not having enough energy to do anything besides lie around.

My sixteen-year-old sister was sick too; she missed four days of school. (Also when I was too ill to get out of bed and I texted her for snacks, she threw the saltines at my poor prone form...wicked girl.)

We both just slept and watched TV all day and got cabin fever. I cannot say how much I appreciate having the energy to do chores and go walking and concentrate on books again.

So now I'm catching up with your blogs.

Texting for snacks...that is hilarious. :P

*wonders how many days it will take to catch up on the multitude of blogs*

Being sick is dreadful. Glad you're better now!

oh, i didn't know you were sick, I'm glad you're better.

I always eat saltines when i'm sick. But i don't think anyone has ever thrown them at me... :)

Summermoon 3/16/2009 10:24 PM

Yay for wellness!

Hmm, not wanting to sound ignorant but...What are saltines?

cuileann 3/16/2009 10:44 PM

Thanks Alyosha. :) Hopefully within a couple days...I'm learning to not feel bad about clicking "mark all as read" for the ones I don't really care about.

PinkAppleCore - Thanks. :) Clearly, you know a kinder bunch of people than I do! ;)

Summermoon - They are a kind of cracker. Click, click.

I'm glad you're feeling better (and also glad to find out what saltines are)!

And you're apparently catching up on your tumblr! You always make me look like I have a heap of new posts to read--thank goodness they're all pictures.

I hate being sick. Glad you're better now!

Beth Kephart 3/17/2009 10:16 AM

welcome back, gorgeous.

You deserve a fresh box of saltines

cuileann 3/17/2009 11:51 AM

Thanks, Bridey! Hm, and I guess now I know saltines are a North American thing.

Q - Yes, and I'm now using it to collect photos from flickr as well, instead of using the "favorite" button on flickr, which explains why there've been a lot more.

Thanks, Priya. :)

Thank you, Beth. Heh heh.

Oh....so they are sort of a cross between sayos and water crackers? Perhaps I should try them when I'm sick...

cuileann 3/17/2009 2:29 PM

Summermoon - Hm, I guess so...I've never heard of sayos, though. Another cultural barrier, blast! Haha. But yes, they're nice for an upset stomach.

Maya Ganesan 3/17/2009 3:37 PM

Hey, I'm sicky too. Still recovering...you're faster than me.

cuileann 3/17/2009 7:04 PM

Poor Maya, I hope you feel better soon too! I'm sending you an imaginary mug of tea and a wish for a good book.

Bambola 3/17/2009 11:30 PM

SO GLAD to hear you're well again my sweets. Your abundance of comments has made my day =)

Thanks for checking out that song. It really is the coolest intro.

I want to use it as my morning alarm hehe.

=) xx

Thanks Bambola :) And ha! That would be pretty sweet.
