Read in October

Umm, I only read one book in October.

1. Daddy Long-Legs, by Jean Webster
It's kinda like Anne of Green Gables, except epistolary and not as awesome (mainly, Anne pwns Judy). Still enjoyed it, though. Thanks for the loan, Summermoon!

I have that from the library right now, but I haven't started it yet.

I'm reading Once Was Lost by Sara Zarr. Have you read any of her books? They're all great. So far, Story of a Girl is my fave, though.

Erin - Noo, I haven't read any of her books, though at least one of them must be on my list. Will look for Story of a Girl at the library.

I LOVE that book, and there is a sequel too :)

I guess sometimes you have to choose between 1) seeing the world through a character's eyes or 2) seeing it through your own eyes. Who has time to read when they're strolling the streets of AU? :)

I loved loved loved Daddy Long Legs and the sequel, Dear Enemy. I'm a huge fan of the epistolary novel format. I refuse to compare it to Anne of GG. Also love Sara Zarr--thought you'd read her already. Anyways, she's fab. Story of a Girl is my fave, but her others are good too. She's on Twitter.

Ooh, sounds like a great book!

I didn't read many more books than you—no, wait, that's not right. It's just that all the ones I read have yet to be published! You are cool no matter what you do.
