parting was: almost one year ago.
I still don't know how long missing lasts.
I so get this.
She looks like your sort of person.
"I still don't know how long missing lasts."What a beautiful and sad line. I really love the photos where Ellie is wearing a blue blanket and leaning on a table. Why did you part? (If you don't mind my asking.)
I don't think the missing ever stops, just that we become excepting of it.
Cassandra - thank you.geekspawn - ohh yes. most definitely. sayanotherlexi - thank you, Lexi. well, it wasn't permanent, her staying with us. she came for us to meet and stayed for about a month and then she went home, and there are two states between our respective homes. pinkapplecore - mm. who do you miss?
My friend Jessica, I only get to see her a hand full of times in a year...maybe 6 tops but we have so much fun together.
pinkapplecore - nods. is it one of those friendships where you see each other only occasionally, yet you still understand each other perfectly? those are precious.
adoreeeebla! looks like some lovely times.
Missing lasts until forgetting, and I find it bittersweet...it's the good memories that cause the sorrow. Everyone who's lived and loved must miss someone, I think.
aipingplum - thanks, miss. they were.Jenica - yes. sadness of absence is a healthy and universal sadness, I guess. I'd like to think, as a rule, that if it's someone worth missing, it's someone worth not forgetting.
