Ice in the morning

I'm sorry that these pictures don't convey the way the ice caught the light.

Delightful photos Holly, even if they don't match what you saw. I've rarely seen ice or snow, so I always find pictures like these rather magical.

Wow...when it comes to matters of beauty, creation outdoes us all.

Afthi - Oh, winter is a strange mix of glory and discomfort! Where have you seen them?

Jenica - Doesn't it? I reckon chandeliers are imitations of icicle-d trees like these.

it's icy here no more and it is never pretty when it is.

Ellie - Don't feel bad, WA, it's never been pretty like this before any of the winters I've spent here.

In the third photo the tree looks magical and I'm sure it was even more so in real life!

Kim - Well, and plus ALL the trees were equally iced, and the light was catching all of them...

I love it! I'm still hoping &/or wishing it will get cold enough this winter so we have icicles! (though i do believe that is complete wishful thinking!) x

Cheray - And it has to be a poorly insulated building in order for icicles to grow, or so my Alaskan friend tells me. Go seek out an old building, perhaps?
